Alt Design Office Joins International Research on AI-Powered Mathematics Learning

NEWS

Alt Design Office has joined an international research project on AI-powered mathematics learning, led by its Representative, Hiroyuki Nobuto.

Nobuto will serve as Project Lead for the project at International Islamic University Malaysia. The research will be conducted as a joint research unit with Semantics Lab, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur.

The project explores new ways to support mathematics learning through AI. Using mathematics textbooks and learning materials as a foundation, it aims to design learning experiences in which students can deepen their understanding through interactive dialogue with AI.

The research will consider how AI can provide appropriate questions, explanations, and guidance for learners who struggle with mathematics, as well as how it can support education in regions where access to teachers and learning resources may be limited.

Through this initiative, Alt Design Office will contribute its experience in design, education, AI development, and international collaboration to explore new possibilities for learning support across Asia.
