CEO, Nobuto, will present at the “Thai–Japan Symposium 2025.”

SEMINAR

On November 23, 2025 (Sunday), at the Knowledge Exchange Center (KX) in Bangkok, our CEO, Nobuto will give a presentation at the “Thai–Japan Symposium 2025.”

The theme of this year’s presentation is “The Role and Redefinition of Design in Community Reconstruction.”
Together with Dr. Mathurada Bejrananda (Lecturer, Social Innovation Design, RMUTR) and Nobuto will present the following research topic:

“Integrating Co-design and Service Design for Resilient Community Regeneration”

This study is based on participatory design practices in Bangkok’s historic Nang Loeng district, exploring the design structures that support social inclusion and resilience building while traversing the distinct yet interconnected fields of art, design, and service.

Developed over more than fifteen years through collaborations with researchers around the world, this initiative has evolved beyond the temporary revitalization brought by art projects to become a design practice that connects community decision-making, institutional frameworks, and value co-creation.

In this presentation, the authors will redefine a cross-sectoral framework that bridges industry, government, and local communities as “Participatory Service Design” and discuss how sustainable regeneration and social inclusion can be achieved within the urban context.
